Boston Marathon

As a resident of Massachusetts, yesterday's Boston Marathon explosions hit very close to home.  I am so thankful that my friends and family are safe, and I continue to keep those affected by this tragedy in my thoughts and prayers.  I would like to take a moment to recognize the heroic actions of those that courageously responded.  The unity and compassion expressed over the past 24 hours has helped restore my faith in humanity.  Boston is a resilient city, and I am confident that they will bounce back stronger than ever.

April Resolutions

I know April is almost half over (sheesh, where'd the time go!?) but it's just starting to feel like spring.  The last of the stubborn snow has (finally) melted and the weather in New England is starting to look up.  I'm pleased to announce that my North Face & duck boots have been neatly tucked away to make room for my trench coat & flats, and the ice-scraper in my trunk has been replaced with a bright pink umbrella. Along with stopping to smell the flowers, here are a few things that I want to accomplish this April.  I'm hoping it will be a welcomed distraction from ruminating over my uncertain future.

What do you want to accomplish before April is over?

I'm Back

Hi all!  I apologize for the extended hiatus.  I've been crazy busy with classes, work, and getting ready for graduation.  However, I'm excited to announce that I'm finally back (...and better than ever!?)  These last few weeks of college are going to be absolutely crazy, but I can't wait to start posting again.  I've been working on a new layout and brainstorming fun features. Here's a sneak peak at the design.  I wanted a color palette that conveys a minimal-and-classic meets chic-and-modern vibe.  And  yes, black and gold are my sorority colors so I may be slightly biased ;)  Anyway, let me know what you think!
